Duthie Hill Park, 120 acres of dense evergreen forest, is connected to more than 2,000 acres of open
space including Grand Ridge Park, Mitchell Hill Forest and Preston Ridge Park. While the park is still under development, several trails are ready for walking and biking. On some trails, bikers have priority (walkers step aside). On others, bikers are asked to dismount for walkers. The park is well-signed and ready to explore.
To get there: From Sammamish City Hall, head south on 228th for 1.3 miles (to QFC shopping center). Turn left onto Issaquah-Pine Lake Road. Enter roundabout. Take the second exit out of the roundabout to SE 32nd. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach a stop sign and must make a turn. Turn left onto Duthie Hill Road. Continue for just under one mile. Duthie Hill Park will be on your right. .
This park is not just for bikers. We walked it the other day and bikers were friendly and accommodating, quickly dismounting before passing us by. Love that boardwalk!
